Founder and Spiritual Director
Ven. Choeji Lama (Kuten lama): He received many lineage teachings and initiations and completed many retreats. He was awarded the Geshe (Doctorate in Buddhist philosophy) degree in 1993, one of the highest degrees in Buddhist studies.
After traveling the world and offering teachings in more than 33 countries, Ven. Kuten Lama moved to Bloomington, Indiana in 1997. Since then, he has served as resident teacher for Gaden KhachoeShing Monastery in Bloomington, as well as spiritual director for Gaden Samdrup Ling Monastery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Ven. Kuten Lama also travels to Buddhist monasteries and centers throughout Mongolia, Europe, Canada and many other countries to teach and participate in spiritual events.
